Various pilot studies have been conducted with both male and female adults over the past 3 years. Throughout the pilot studies, participants have been asked to complete multiple-choice surveys every 5 days to assess their mood and physical appearance changes over the course of the 30-day program. Participants have also completed short answer questions to assess their overall improvements at the end of the 30 days and to gain feedback about the program. Overall, people reported feeling happier, having more energy, looking and feeling healthier, losing weight and toning up.
The graphs below illustrate just some of the improvements in mood reported by people who participated in our research studies. These results support the emotional eating aim of the Refresh Your Life program, to assist in improving overall mood and therefore reducing the likelihood of eating in response to negative emotions. These results also highlight that positive moods have been associated with eating well and becoming more active - without PAIN.
