When you feel negative it’s often difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You may engage in behaviours such as overeating or drinking, self sabotaging your successes, overspending, procrastinating, losing direction, or snap at others as a result of your negative feelings.

 

When you don’t feel well mentally or physically, it’s very difficult to change your behaviours. Exercise is a good example of this. You can have the most expensive personal trainer, wear the best fitness outfits and have the most thorough fitness regime, but without adequate motivation, self-belief and determination, you’re unlikely to even get started. Similarly, you can have the best organiser at work, but you won’t keep to it if you procrastinate as a result of not having clear priorities, being a perfectionist, or worrying about making mistakes.

 

So how can we help?

As a result of our professional and academic experience and expertise we are able to incorporate a mix of counselling and coaching  within sessions when needed. We incorporate strategies for clients to empower effective instant and long term change and ultimate life success. This may include dealing with past pain preventing you from moving forward (e.g. creating limiting beliefs which influence current behaviour), learning new ways to cope with present issues and realising your full potential (where you'd like to be and how to actively get there). We deal with a range of issue and clients and tailor sessions to meet clients personal and professional needs. We provide in-person sessions at our Prahran (Melbourne) office and Skype phone sessions.  Evening and weekend appointment are also offered.

 

When you feel good, you become more productive, can effortlessly problem solve, achieve a lot more in your day and follow through with your plans of action.

If you're not seeing yourself getting closer to what you desire, it's likely you don't really have faith in yourself that you can achieve it or sustain it. In order to avoid self sabotage it's important to live in the moment and ignore the outcome because the outcome is the unknown.
